Meet the Team

Our staff are committed Muslim teachers who strive to educate our students with both academic concepts intertwined with Islamic knowledge. Our administrative staff have experience in both teaching and leading day to day schoolwork.

Student life at Almadina Academy is incredibly supportive. Our teachers develop caring relationships with our students, allowing for the adaptation of curricula to meet the social, emotional and educational needs of everyone. Furthermore teachers also maintain a very collegial relationship with parents always communicating on their child's progress through ClassDojo, and parent-teacher conferences.

All of our teaching staff have educational background and experience in teaching different subjects. Teachers receive professional development opportunities to enhance and be updated with new trends in education.

Islamic Teacher

My name is Olla Osman, and I am originally from Khartoum Sudan. My educational background is in finance, however I am a teacher by passion and experience. My career began as a simple Sunday school teacher at Azza Academy, transforming to substitute teacher and eventually into a homeroom teacher. At Almadina, I have the blessing of teaching ELA, Social studies/science, and Islamic studies. I am a proud bookworm, whether it is a classic Arabic novel or a “how to” instruction manual; I am never without something to read. I am family oriented in my outlook in life, therefore I take pride in the time and energy I put into those relationships. My students are my second family, so I ensure that the same energy is visible. My theory in life is “organized chaos”, so If we can clean up that mess, lets enjoy making it.
